Development of Human Resources:

Since its establishment, the Marianne Early Childhood and Family Center has been operating according to the integrative approach which perceives the child as part of a family, environmental and cultural network that influences his/her personality and life.

The "Teachers' Training Center" focuses on development and centralization of theoretical and practical materials and on providing guidance, training and support to professionals in the early childhood field and to parents. Strong emphasis is placed on development, training and enrichment of educational teams in the Early Childhood frameworks.

Changes in the organizational approach of the Marianne Center which are influenced by demographical, economic, cultural and social changes in Israel and abroad and by managerial changes in the Center have led the Teachers Training Center to widen its scope of activities to work with children, provide professional training for teachers and therapists, and guidance at various levels. The development of human resources involves emphasizing the stronger points and strengthening fields which require improvements.

Rational:
"During early childhood, each child goes through a stage from which there is no return. Beyond this stage, they will or will not have an opportunity to realize their innate abilities if several obligatory conditions are in place" (Oscar Van Leer).

From the beginning we have adopted the above motto and our aim is to provide maximal conditions to enable each child to realize their maximal potential with equal opportunities for all. Our guiding principal is that during infancy, foundations are laid for future life skills and life itself.  

Training and guidance take place on the following levels:
  1. Teacher Courses:
Type 1, Type 2 for working teachers or teachers with practical experience who lack formal qualification. The Center is recognized by the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Labor as a professional and experienced body for training of this type.
  1. Training Center for Teachers:
The Center offers a variety of training programs, enrichment and preparation of assistive apparatuses especially adapted for work with children in the various frameworks.
  1. Human Resource Development:
In this framework, training and guidance is provided to the entire staff body of the center in the various fields. An emphasis is placed on the development and empowerment of each worker and on encouragement of quality and excellence.
